Once the class is full, we are unable to add any additional students based on the AHA instructor to student ratios. You can show up at the time of the class to see if there are any last minute cancellations but you will not have a guaranteed seat if everyone registered does show for the class.
Depends on the class – CPR only 2.5, CPR/FA 4, FA only 2, BLS 3.5, PEDS 4, ACLS Renewal 6, ACLS Initial 10, PALS Renewal 6, PALS Initial 10, PEARS 6, Skills checks 30min-1hr in office skills, NRP 2.5, ASHI Spanish 4.
  • BLS – AHA combined the initial and renewal courses and now only offer 1 course so you will need to complete the 3.5 hour BLS class to renew your certification or you can do the BLS online with skills check where you complete the class online and you will come in to do the skills check with an instructor that usually takes about 15-30 minutes to complete.
  • ACLS and PALS – If you qualify as a renewal, you can take the renewal course which is 6 hours instead of the initial 10 hour course or you can complete the ACLS/PALS online with skills check where you complete the class online and you will come in to do the skills check with an instructor that usually takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete.
  • NRP, ASHI, PEDS – Yes, there is no difference between initial and renewal courses.
No, the add ons are not a requirement in order to take the class. We do highly recommend the book if you are taking the class for the first time.
  • ACLS and PALS Initials – No, the class is listed as 10 hours from 8am-6pm so these classes will need to be completed on two different days.
  • BLS with ACLS and PALS – You can renew your BLS on the same day as your ACLS and PALS class for an additional $50.
  • BLS/ACLS/PALS Skills checks – Yes! We can match your availability with our instructors to skills test you on all 3 certifications in one day.
BLS, ACLS, PALS – No, we do not offer CE’s through the Dental Board but you can submit your certification card straight to the Dental Board and they will provide you with CE’s for your class.
