I spent 15 years as a firefighter and paramedic, and I think everyone should learn CPR, First Aid, and AED…
Because these treatments are most effective when performed immediately. Bystanders are uniquely poised to save lives: they can intervene quickly following a cardiac emergency. As a bystander, you can use CPR, First Aid, and AED skills to help a patient stay alive until first responders like myself arrive on the scene. I started SureFire CPR to help empower potential bystanders and teach CPR, First Aid, and AED to as many people as possible. It could very well be the difference between life and death.

If you’re a medical professional, this class is not the one you need. Healthcare providers are required to complete the American Heart Association’s BLS Provider Course, which follows a different curriculum. SureFire CPR offers that program around the clock through our 24/7 training model. Register for it here.
Absolutely. This course is developed and authorized by the American Heart Association and satisfies certification requirements for educators, construction and trade workers, caregivers, and anyone seeking CPR and basic first aid training nationwide.
Our training uses CPR Verification Stations—interactive manikin systems that you can access any time, day or night. Just register above, complete the online learning portion, and you’ll receive a personalized access code to enter the station you’ve selected. It’s designed for maximum flexibility and zero scheduling stress.
Yes! Our team is on standby every hour of every day to assist with scheduling questions, station access, and guidance during the hands-on skills portion. Whenever you need help, we’re here.
A CPR Verification Station is an AHA-designed training unit featuring an interactive manikin that gives real-time feedback on compressions, breaths, and AED operation. Once the Heartsaver Direct course is released, the station will walk you through every step and automatically issue your CPR and AED certification after successful completion.
When the Heartsaver CPR & AED course becomes available (expected in 2026), you’ll receive your AHA eCard instantly inside your learning dashboard as soon as you finish the skills portion—no delays or extra steps.
You’ll learn how to respond confidently to the most common emergencies, including:
-CPR for adults, children, and infants
-Choking relief for conscious and unconscious victims of any age
-Proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and special situations
The CPR and AED Certification card is valid for 2 years from the date of your class and is issued from the American Heart Association.
