SureFire CPR provides hospital fire safety training in Los Angeles. Our Los Angeles fire safety class teaches hospital personnel how to manage fire emergencies.
Required for: All personnel that work in a hospital setting in the City of Los Angeles. (Including skilled nursing facilities, psychiatric hospitals, clinics, and retirement homes)

**This class fulfills the Hospital Fire Safety requirement for the City of Los Angeles (Los Angeles Fire Code Section 57.113.09)
At the completion of the class you will receive a Blue Fire Safety Card. The Blue card is for Acute Care Settings and is valid for 4 years.

Why Is Hospital Fire Safety Training Important?
Los Angeles County hospital personnel are required to receive hospital fire safety training. What to Expect During Fire Safety Training in LA
SureFire CPR’s hospital fire safety class is approved by the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD). It is based on Section 57.113.09 of the LA City Fire Code and encompasses all parts of the LAFD Hospital Fire Safety Curriculum.
Our hospital fire safety class emphasizes the following topics:
- Proper management of hospital fires
- Patient rescue processes and techniques
- Fire extinguishers, how they work and when to use them
- Different types of fires and how to stop these fires from escalating
- Hospital evacuations and how to safely exit a hospital during a fire emergency
- Home fire safety
- How to plan ahead for a fire
Each fire safety training class is taught by emergency medical technicians (EMTs), paramedics, fire fighters and other expert instructors. Upon successful completion of a hospital fire safety class, each student receives a Blue Fire Safety Card. This certification is designed for hospital professionals who work in acute care settings, and it remains valid for four years.
