SureFire CPR’s group BLS training combines self-paced online learning with hands-on skills testing at our locations. Employees who successfully complete the required components earn an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider Course Completion eCard.
How does group BLS training work?
Your organization purchases training seats, and an admin or manager goes in and assigns a seat to each employee. Each employee completes the required course at a SureFire CPR location. You can track the process inside our built-in system, so there is no need for manual certification delivery or proof of completion.
Can employees complete their BLS training entirely online?
Online coursework alone does not earn an AHA BLS Provider eCard. Employees must also successfully complete the required hands-on skills component. SureFire CPR offers skills testing at our locations, where employees demonstrate their skills using training equipment. Confirm the course and preparation requirements before booking an appointment.
Does everyone on our team need to train together?
Employees can select their own skills-testing location, date, and time within available appointment options. Your team does not need to attend the same session through this group format. Set an internal completion deadline and coordinate appointments with managers so employees can finish training while maintaining appropriate workplace coverage.
What does “BLS certification” mean?
What people commonly call BLS certification is officially an American Heart Association BLS Provider Course Completion eCard. It documents successful completion of the course requirements. Your organization should confirm that this specific course and provider card meet the requirements for each employee’s role before arranging group enrollment.
How quickly can our team complete BLS training?
Completion depends on each employee’s online learning progress, available skills appointments, and successful completion of the course requirements. Share your deadline and employee locations when requesting group training. Confirm available options before making staffing commitments, and allow time to collect and verify the completed AHA provider eCards.
Can surgical center staff use group BLS training?
Surgical centers can arrange group BLS training for employees whose roles require the AHA BLS Provider course. Your facility should confirm course and delivery requirements before enrollment. Coordinate appointment choices with department leaders, maintain appropriate coverage, and verify each employee’s final provider eCard through your facility’s established process.
Where do employees complete their skills testing?
SureFire CPR offers skills testing at our locations across the United States. Employees select an available SureFire Skills Lab when booking their appointment. Check the specific location’s hours, access instructions, and availability before scheduling. Confirm that employees complete the required online learning and review their appointment preparation instructions.
How can we track employee training completion?
Tracking group training with SureFire CPR is done through our internal database, which you can access online. There you can find all the people you assign courses to, which courses they are assigned, their certification expiration dates, and their progress. There is no need for manual information, because everything is available online.
What information should we provide when requesting group training?
Share your team size, required course, employee locations, and target completion dates. Explain any shift-coverage constraints or urgent onboarding needs. SureFire CPR can help you review the available group enrollment and skills-testing options. Your organization should confirm its course requirements before distributing booking instructions to employees.
