Cardiac anatomy and physiology is made simple in EKG Level 2. After completing this level you will understand how electricity travels through the heart and is shown on the rhythm strip.

You'll be able to interpret 17 additional rhythms from tachydysrhythmias, advanced sinus rhythms, heart blocks and cardiac arrest rhythms after completing this 3 hour course.

Reading rhythms is one element of mastering EKGs. The next is understanding why EKGs change. Level 2 will teach you to interpret cardiac arrest rhythms and understand their causes.

I want to be successful in ACLS, PALS, or NRP. Which courses should I take?

EKG Levels 1 & 2 cover the basic heart rhythms that you will see in ACLS, PALS, and NRP. If you'd like to feel even more confident in your EKG skills, we recommend Levels 3 & 4 as well.

Can I learn EKG online?

Absolutely! We have a proven method to increase your EKG interpretation speed and skill, all while working at your own pace online.

How long will the course take to complete?

The EKG Level 2 course will usually take about 3 hours and you can start and stop at your own pace.

Does this course qualify for Continuing Education Units (CEUs)?

Yes! This course is approved through the CA Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) and Orange County EMS for 1.0 hours of CEU. Need more CEUs? Register for our EKG Pro Package for 10.0 hours!

Does this course certify me to be an EKG Technician?

No, if you are looking for a career as an EKG Technician, there are roughly 50+ hours of required training and testing. The Level 2 course is a 3 hour lesson covering basic rhythm interpretation, cardiac A&P, and lead placement.
